Conductors are a possible evolution of Infected Scientists, belonging in the Evolved tier.
Spawning
Spawned when a base Infected Scientist variant gets an evolution point by killing a mob and its evolution timer begins. If the evolution succeeds, they will become a Conductor.
Spawn naturally in laboratory structures (Military Camp, Hospital, Permafrost Mining Outpost, and Groundzero structures.)
Spawns in groups of 2 - 3 with a spawn weight of 30.
Unique Behavior
Conductors, when having a target, will build up their charge meter. It increases by 0.1 every tick. If a Conductor loses its target, its charge will slowly drain back down to 0. Their brain also has a blue aura when having a target, identical to Charged Creepers.
If a Conductor reaches 10 charge, it will shoot out a 'discharge bolt' at its target, which consumes the charge and does 10 lightning damage to the target, as well as setting them on fire for 5 seconds.
Discharge bolts do 3x damage to Iron Golems.
Every 5 ticks, if there is a target within [X] blocks of a Conductor, sparks will jump off its brain and onto the target, shooting an 'arc bolt' that consumes 1 charge and does 2 lightning damage to the target, as well as having a 20% chance to set them on fire for 2 seconds.
The range that sparks can jump off the Conductor increases with its charge. The range is calculated by the following equation: [current charge value] x 3 + 4 (there is also some vector RNG involved).
Conductors are immune to negative effects.
Behavior
Conductors are melee combatants and ranged combatants, attacking mobs with Infected forms, golems, and most hostile mobs.
Conductors inflict Mycelium Infection for 30 seconds when dealing melee damage.
Has a follow range of 32 blocks.
Conductors have a 5% chance to drop a Scent upon death.
When killed, have a chance to place a small short-lived Mycelium Infection area effect cloud.
Conductors will attempt to group together in hordes with other Evolved.
Infected will follow Conductors, who themselves will follow Hyper Evolved and Calamities.
Can perform low leaps/dashes to chase prey quickly through water.
Able to use kill points to give themselves buffs, such as strength or speed if the target is running away. They can also give themselves regeneration if they are low on health.
Capable of breaking glass and leaves.
Have a damage cap of 1/3 of their health on hard mode.
Present a weakness to the cold, like all spore mobs.

The Conductor focused most of its evolution into overcharging its brain, allowing it to be strong enough to produce electrical zaps. The taser and car battery strapped to its back also help provide power.

The Conductor is a suggested mob, coming from the mind of @slasherwolf_ in the Spore Asylum Discord server.
The Conductor's model was created by the same person who suggested it, Slasher.
The pattern of char on its hazmat suit is meant to resemble scar patterns caused by lightning.
The car battery on the Conductor's back is based on the torso decoration by the same name from Roblox Animatronic World.
The taser on the Conductor's arm is based on the PCI model.
