Usurpers belong in the Organoid tier.
Spawning
Spawned by a Proto Hivemind when it detects a threat.
Spawned by Outpost Watchers when it detects a threat.
Spawned by Arena Tendrils if their target goes 2 blocks above them.
Unique Behavior
When targets get within 64 blocks, the Usurper will shoot a cluster of 4 projectiles, each one a random type of round. There are four types of rounds.
Infectious or mycelic rounds are the basic round, dealing 8 damage (x4 hearts) and inflicting Mycelium Infection IV for 20 seconds.
Explosive rounds have an explosion power of 1 and deal 6 damage (x3 hearts.) They also knock targets very high into the air.
Corrosive rounds deal 8 damage (x4 hearts) and inflict Corrosion II for 30 seconds.
Flammable or incendiary rounds deal 12 damage (x6 hearts) and set targets on fire for 6 seconds. They can also set blocks on fire.
Behavior
Usurpers are ranged combatants, attacking mobs with Infected forms, golems, and most hostile mobs.
Has a follow range of 64 blocks.
Usurpers are incapable of movement.
Able to breath underwater.
Usurpers have a type of passive regeneration. This is disabled while they are under the effects of the cold.

Trivia
The explosive rounds knocking players into the air is actually a bug, but it was decided not to be fixed because the mod creator thought it was funny.
The name 'Usurper' was originally suggested as the name for a hypothetical "stronger umarmer" that the Full Hivemind would summon. Harby misunderstood the intent of the name and decided it worked for the Usurper. The "stronger umarmer" was denied in the same conversation as it was originally brought up in.
