Wiki is currently undergoing a revamp! If you see some pages that are more polished, it means they've been revamped.
CurseForge
If your mod loader is CurseForge, this method should work for you.
Click on the desired modpack. Near the top by the orange Play button, there are three dots. Click them and then Open Folder.
Alternative: Search for the folder named Instances on your computer. Afterwards, open the folder that shares the same name as the modpack you desire to edit the configs of. (Note: if you have renamed your modpack at any point, the file's name will not be renamed; it keeps the old name.)
Next, open the folder named config. Search for the files named sporeconfig.toml and sporedata.toml. These are the config files of Spore. It's recommended to use Notepad to open and edit them.

Configured
If none of the previous methods are working (or not currently available), using Configured should work.
Install the Configured mod to your modpack. Once installed and you've relaunched the modpack (by closing Minecraft and reopening the modpack), you can continue.
Click the Mods option, either on the title screen or in-game pause menu. Scroll until you find the Spore option.
Click the Config option near the bottom left. This provides both config files for you to edit. Once any changes have been made, the game may or may not need to be relaunched for the changes to take place, it depends on what you edited. The safest option is to just relaunch the game anyway.
Notepad - Windows 11
WIP.
If you see a list in brackets and wish to add to it, make sure you use the commas and quotation marks correctly and stay in the brackets. When adding a new option in a list, you should add the following in order:
A comma should come after the last quotation mark of the last option.
Then a space.
Then a quotation mark.
Then whatever you'd like to add.
Then a last quotation mark.
Note that commas and quotation marks typed in Notepad are not the same ones that might be typed on something like Google; meaning you cannot type something in, e.g., Google Docs, and copy and paste it in Notepad.
To save your config changes, select File and then Save.
Notepad - Windows 10
The same as on Windows 11, except you don't need to save your configs after changing them; they should save automatically. It's recommended to just do it anyway though, just to be safe.
Refreshing Configs
You absolutely need to refresh your configs every time Spore updates.
To update your configs, drag the sporeconfig.toml and sporedata.toml files from the modpack file into the trash and relaunch the modpack with the newest version of Spore installed. The new config files will regenerate and be updated.
