Fungal Infection: Spore has a few structures in the mod, whether it's to help the spore spread or be a part of the lore. Harbinger has stated multiple times, however, that structures are not a key focus with FI:S, and will remain a small feature of the mod. That being said, here is a list of all the structures in the mod.
Normal Structures
Description: The blue iceberg mines can be found in frozen oceans. They seem simple enough on the outside. A large iceberg with an antenna and a small wooden entrance with a chimney. But inside are five floors, the first floor being the most important, having a furnace room and kitchen. The floors below are similar, being icy hallways with various chests that have ice, snow, and Ice Canisters. There's even a secret room on the top floor, only accessible via the vents, containing an ender chest, CDU, and the Corrupted Record disc.

Description: The cathedral is a massive stone church-like structure overtaken by the spore that spawns within forested biomes. The cathedral is comprised of mostly smooth andesite forming its frame, whilst also other block types are present to form supporting details, such as smooth basalt for rafter beams, mud brick for the roof, smooth granite and stone walls for external bracing and decayed wood as detailing. Its central chamber resembles an ordinary church lay-out, with pews before an altar. Above the pews is a small library overhang, with a veranda lacking railings expanding along the rest of the room. Behind said altar is a staircase leading to its basement, which is also visible via glass in the floor of the central chamber. The basement contains various alongside gravestones featuring words written in Latin, alongside a secret. Hidden within the basement is a secret room accessible via a hidden lever in a corner, and then past that room lies another secret room, accessible via throwing an item into the cauldron. Each of the two secret rooms contains two chests containing loot from the mod, more gravestones with Latin text and 1 - 2 golden blocks. The last room contains a tripwire trap that fires poison arrows, alongside decorated pots and a book with Latin text upon an altar. Underneath one of the decorated pots is a barrel filled with books and enchanted books. The structure also contains two more chests of spore loot underneath staircases, and two Reconstructed Minds present within two of the three steeples. There is also a totem named "Bishops Totem", located in a hidden barrel under a desk in the tallest tower.

Description: The cell tower structure is located in forest biomes. Constructed almost entirely of laboratory blocks, the cell tower structure resembles a shelter facility next to a tall deepslate radio tower within a fenced-off yard. The entire facility, primarily the shelter itself, is heavily overrun and infested with spore foliage. The inside of the shelter consists of four separate tight rooms and a secret room underneath the floor. Through the building are many double chests primarily containing loot from the mod, a Zoaholic, Incubator, and a brewing stand, all guarded by an Infected Adventurer mob spawner. If a player is to break the jukebox (which holds a Pigstep music disc inside) underneath the stairs, and mine further down they’ll find a vent to the secret room, that houses three chests.

Description: The church of spore is a relatively small structure that can be located within dark forests. It notably has three separate variants, the ‘ancient’ variant, the ‘birch’ variant, and ‘small’ variant. Each of the three variants share many similar characteristics, whilst being notably unique from one another. All three churches take the mere form of their namesake, whilst being different sizes, varying shapes, consisting of different blocks, and housing different contents. All three variants house at least one bell atop a tower, one altar in their nave.
The ‘ancient’ variant is the first of the three. It is composed mostly of stone bricks and various spruce and dark oak blocks. Inside, lots of spore foliage can be found, including Human Remains. All along the sides are deepslate tables with candles on top. At the back of the church is an altar, with a Reconstructed Mind sat on top. Behind the altar are some trapdoors, and underneath is some dirt. But if you dig up that dirt, you'll find a secret chest filled with various useful spore items such as Cerebrums, Innards, Armor Fragments, and Tendons, among other items.
The ‘birch’ variant is the second of the three. It is comprised almost entirely of birch wood, say for the stone brick foundation, glass windows, and the pieces of its birch frame that have been rotted by the quiet spore infestation present, similar to the ‘ancient’ church. The building takes the shape of a church nave, nested between a tower in the front and small extension room on the back. Both the tower and backroom house a chest containing spore loot, whist the central nave houses a Reconstructed Mind atop a loft above the pews. The spire atop the top sports a spruce cross.
The ‘small’ variant is the third of the three, and is by far the smallest. Unlike the others, the church is not overrun by the spore, and actually houses a villager, who is most likely to be a librarian due to the lectern altar present. Consisting of only benign blocks such as stone brick and various wooden bits, alongside the sole chest it houses being empty, this structure is the most neutral in the mod. It brings the player no major foreseeable benefits or ramifications.

Description: The lodge is a medium sized structure located in taiga biomes, that may serve as a solid shelter-esc point of interest to locate food items. The rotted wooden structure resembles an L-shaped two-floor cabin home with a small yard, root cellar and outdoor fireplace. Due to the docile spore outbreak within, the formerly spruce and oak wood structure is almost entirely made of decayed wood blocks, with only sparse bits of its former self left aggregated. Whilst as decayed as it is, the spore has a far lesser presence here than in most structures, with little foliage takeover and no mob activity. In terms of contents, the root cellar has a wall of barrels stocked with food supplies, the kitchen fridge is stocked to the brim with vanilla food items, and various spore consumables are present on various tables. The jukebox under the stairs has a Forgotten Record inside, and a Surgery Table is present upstairs at the foot of a bed. Hidden away in a secret compartment of the upper floor is a strange cubby containing a 3x3 grid of maps in item frames displaying nothing. Whilst windows and a vent are present, they are obstructed by paintings, and aforementioned vent cannot be utilized naturally anyhow due to it is placement against the coving.

Description: The ‘mass grave’ structures are one of three small atmospheric points of interest that can be located in plains biomes. The structures' three variants, the ‘burial site’ variant, the ‘decrepit graveyard’ variant, and the ‘body pit’ variant, all serve as their namesake: mass graves for the rotten husks of spore creatures. No mobs spawn in any of them, and they house very little to no loot.
The ‘burial site’ variant is a small stretch of damaged land with a nearby canopy, gravel pile and tables, where an unknown party orchestrated an attempted burial operation to dispose of infected and foul Human Remains under gravel. The job seems incomplete, with some Human Remains still unburied, and wheelbarrows left out on the lot at random. The rough gravely ground has been taken over in some spots. Present under the tent is a barrel that contains two iron shovels.
The ‘decrepit graveyard’ variant consists of the remnants of three ravaged households and a tent, reduced to ruin and torn asunder by the spore. The structure consists of various wrecked stone and rotted wooden blocks forming the decrepit buildings, whilst the tattered tent is made out of wool. Ominous banners from Illagers are posted up around the place, including one on the crest of the tent entrance. The tent contains a barrel that has a handful of damaged crossbows and some cobwebs.
The ‘body pit’ variant is a mere 3-block deep pit of various dirt blocks full of Human Remains and loose spore infection overtaking the aged dirt. Amongst the Human Remains lays multiple skeleton skulls and Infested Soul Sand blocks.

Description: One of the largest structures in the mod, located in jungle biomes. Formerly a gargantuan stone fortress once thought impenetrable, has now reduced to ruin and overtaken by the treacherous wrath of the spore, stands now as one of their underdeveloped strongholds. The structure is split into key segments; the above ground prison facade comprised mostly of stone and reduced to ruin, and the below-ground laboratory comprised of quartz and hidden behind the doctors’ offices. The surface prison resembles a castle, with four solidly fortified walls for its body, with battlement fortifications, low towers, and barred windows surrounding the central chamber of cells and utilities, overseen by a central panopticon. Said central tower surveys three floors of cell blocks, with one floor dedicated to facility services and staff up above and down below, and a parapet roof above with a helipad, overtaken by a web-like biomass growth with an Outpost Watcher in the center. The abundance of vines strung about may assist or inconvenience the player in navigating to the various rooms of interest, such as the stairwell, offices, staff room, kitchen containing food, cafeteria, item-collection which has empty chests, a shower block, walkways, hospital rooms, reception room by the door, the special-care doctor’s quarters that leads to the lower facility, or the warden’s office, which has been barricaded off and is housing a Reconstructed Mind. The Redstone circuitry hooked to operate the secret doorway to the lower facility is broken, so the door is naturally open and cannot be closed.

Description: The small cell tower is located in savanna biomes, constructed of stone bricks, iron bars and deepslate tiles. The structure consists of a tall, robust and fenced-off cell tower, adjacent to a small shelter box with a chest containing spore loot. The shelter has multiple viable iron doors built in, alongside a small vent tunnel, giving the shelter multiple entry ways and exits. With the exception of a singular pile of Human Remains, the structure is untainted by the spore.

Laboratory Structures
Description: Groundzero is a massive research laboratory that can be located within the mushroom fields biome. Lore-wise, it is the origin of the spore. From the outside, the structure appears unnervingly quiet, merely an overtaken facility comprised of laboratory blocks with stone brick detailing. However, beneath this natural facade lies more of the facility, further overtaken by the spore. The underbelly of the facility takes the shape of a maze-like mass of rooms, hallways and offices with spawners throughout. The walls of the facility are made of laboratory blocks, with various vents placed throughout. In the center of the facility basement is a giant multi-floor atrium, with three giant research containers. Through various hallways are more points of interested, such as a barracks, cafeteria, malformed-biomass tower and many chests containing spore loot. Two BCUs are also present within one of the offices overseeing the central room. This structure is considered a laboratory structure, meaning Experiment tier mobs can spawn here.

Description: The hospital is a massive structure spawning in plains biomes. It has two variants, the normal and 'asylum' variant. They are completely different structures simply grouped under one name. The normal variant is a dilapidated five story complex made of quartz, concrete and smooth stone with a utilities basement, parking lot, and exterior fence. The structure has been ravaged by both the spore, natural degradation and possibly a battle given the varying impact craters through the structure. Whilst who caused what damages during the battle is up to debate, what’s left undeniable is that the spore won the conflict, taking over the entire structure. Multiple spawners for Infected Adventurers and Infected Scientists are hidden under the walls at floor level on each floor, except for the tiny basement generator room. Each floor boasts one central hallway connected to each and every adjacent room, all usually following the same layout. Such common rooms include the stairwell and elevator by the bend, medical rooms along the walls, a cafeteria-kitchen combo and a washroom on one wing, whilst having a unique room at the end of the other wing. The top floor breaks this mold, with an entirely unique room layout described later, safe for the washroom merely changing into a shower block. The ground floor uniquely has a waiting area and secretarial front desk. The second floor has a children’s play area, which houses a hidden Saugling spawner and many empty chests, acting as a trap for the player that’ll simultaneously teach them the Saugling's gimmick by means of trial by fire. The third floor has a library with shelves stocked to the brim with books, alongside two token calling-cards left by members of the mod's development team. The fourth floor has a garden room, with one untouched bundle of foliage and a small aquarium. The fifth and final floor, formerly staff only, is now barred off as a '!Biohazard!' zone, being rendered a spore only floor unless one is willing to trespass. There is reason to enter however. Whilst guarded by the hospitals fallen personnel, their accouterments were left behind with them. Multiple Zoaholics, Incubators, Surgery Tables, Brewing Stands, Chests, BCUs, Cauldrons and Cabinets are dotted throughout the floor's two laboratory rooms, two containment rooms and three miscellaneous utility rooms. The roof is also accessible via a ladder at the peak of the stairwell. Whilst difficult to conquer, accessing the generator housed within the basement can make approaching the structure noticeably easier. Turning on the generator's systems turns on the building's power, illuminating the entire place with redstone lamps, safe for one section where one circuit was damaged. Regardless of any method of approach however, the structure's dozens of Chests and BCUs worth of loot are guarded by an understandably difficult spore presence. This structure is considered a laboratory structure, meaning Experiment tier mobs can spawn here.
The 'asylum' variant is an equally daunting structure located in plains biomes. The structure resembles its haunting namesake, a decrepit, rotting facility once used to house and experiment upon those driven to the brink of insanity and beyond by the hivemind. The place has been long since abandoned, with what is left of its former inhabitants barred inside behind iron doors, barred windows and blockades interiors. Say for the upper wings of the building, the entire place is overrun by the spore and falling apart at the seams, with bits of the ceiling resting on the floor. In terms of lay out, the player typically breaks in through the front door, where door controls behind the front desk must be tinkered with to progress further. The main floor houses several employee rooms, such as a kitchen, mudroom, disposal room, and two halls of solitary confinement chambers. The second floor is primarily open living quarters, with a less dreary aesthetic. The 3rd floor houses employee chambers and the warden's office. The basement is where all illusion of facility possibly having benevolent intent in an apocalypse is crushed by the depressing lay out of the experimentation chambers and incinerator. A sewer full of discarded biomass is also present. The structure houses an assortment of lootable chests and barrels, alongside various pieces of spore item-crafting technology in the basement. The whole operation can be made much easier by activating the generator in the basement and dismantling the monster spawners hidden away in the walls. Forgotten Records are present in the jukeboxes. This structure is considered a laboratory structure, meaning Experiment tier mobs can spawn here.

Description: An overrun military encampment located in desert biomes, guarded by a formidable Wendigo. The place consists of multiple small sandstone barracks, shelters, deepslate water tanks and a birch guard tower all together in a sandy fenced-in yard. The fortifications have entirely fell awry, being overtaken by the spore, with spore foliage everywhere, wood once birch now rotted, and three hidden monster spawners present. A Wendigo also spawns alongside the structure as if to protect it, however given its AI, it is prone to wander off. A Wandering Trader also spawns here, though it will quickly get infected. In terms of wares, the structure uniquely houses an excessive amount of TNT, several chests and barrels of all sorts of loot and a Zoaholic. There is no real pattern to loot placement, other than the layout of furniture in each sandstone facility being almost identical to one another, say for small differences. Some chests placed adjacent to TNT are trapped chests, though cannot be opened due to the roof above them. A Forsaken Record can be located in one of the three shelters. This structure is considered a laboratory structure, meaning Experiment tier mobs can spawn here.
ID: spore:military_camp
Description: The permafrost mining outpost is an ice quarry that is composed mostly of Laboratory Blocks, being found in snowy plains. The structure's purpose is as a mine for ice. It has two floors and a secret room below the first floor, containing various spore items, most notably the Corrupted Record disc and Gas Mask. This room is only accessible via the vents. The first floor contains a CDU and two chests, one having ice, snow, and Ice Canisters, while the other has various enchanted iron armor, tools, a bow and a few arrows. The second floor has a Reconstructed Mind. Both floors have scattered Human Remains, and around the structure are a few spawners that spawn Infected Scientists, specifically the hazmat variant. Next to the building is an ice quarry that has some spawners and a few chests containing ice, snow, and Ice Canisters. This structure is considered a laboratory structure, meaning Experiment tier mobs can spawn here.
