Delusioners are ranged combatants and support units that utilize spells to attack and support. They belong in the Organoid tier.
Spawning
Can be spawned by Proto Hiveminds when they have a target.
Unique Behavior
Delusioners are able to utilize four different spells when having a target. There are two parameters that decide which spell is used; if there are at least 4 Spore Mobs in a 4.5 (horizontally) by 5.5 (vertically) block range around the casting Delusioner or not, and if the target is within ~11.8 blocks of the casting Delusioner or not. Delusioners have a 4 second cooldown on casting spells.
If there are enough nearby Spore Mobs and the target is closer than ~11.8 blocks, a Delusioner will cast its invisibility spell. Once cast, all Spore Mobs in a 16.5 (horizontally) x 17.5 (vertically) block range of the casting Delusioner will be granted Invisibility I for 30 seconds.
If there are enough nearby Spore Mobs and the target is farther than ~11.8 blocks, a Delusioner will cast its teleportation spell. Once cast, all Spore Mobs in a 16.5 (horizontally) x 17.5 (vertically) block range of the casting Delusioner will be teleported within 16 blocks of the target.
If there aren't enough nearby Spore Mobs and the target is closer than ~11.8 blocks, a Delusioner will summon 2 to 5 Hallucinations with no owner on itself with their target set to the casting Delusioner's target.
If there aren't enough nearby Spore Mobs and the target is farther than ~11.8 blocks, a Delusioner will cast its arrows spell. Once cast, 3 to 7 tipped fire arrows with Mycelium Infection I for 30 seconds will be summoned facing the target at random positions 3 blocks above the target's head.
Variants
Delusioners have a 50% chance to spawn as one of their one Variant (excluding normal Delusioners), with an overall 50% chance per Variant.
Enchanter Delusioners have a set of four unique spells that they'll use instead of the normal ones. These spells utilize the same parameters and 4 second cooldown.
If there are enough nearby Spore Mobs and the target is closer than ~11.8 blocks, an Enchanter Delusioner will cast its protection spell. Once cast, all Spore Mobs in a 16.5 (horizontally) x 17.5 (vertically) block range of the casting Enchanter Delusioner that can utilize Equipment and are wearing Armor will have all of their said Armor pieces Enchanted with either Protection, Projectile Protection, Blast Protection, or Fire Protection at the highest level possible in survival. Spore Mobs that cannot utilize Equipment will instead be granted Resistance for 5 minutes with particles hidden and a random amplifier between 1 to 2.
If there are enough nearby Spore Mobs and the target is farther than ~11.8 blocks, an Enchanter Delusioner will cast its endurance spell. Once cast, all Spore Mobs in a 16.5 (horizontally) x 17.5 (vertically) block range of the casting Enchanter Delusioner that can utilize Equipment and are wearing Boots will have said Boots Enchanted with either Feather Falling, Depth Strider, or Frost Walker at the highest level possible in survival. Spore Mobs that cannot utilize Equipment will instead be granted Speed for 10 minutes with particles hidden and a random amplifier between 1 to 3.
If there aren't enough nearby Spore Mobs and the target is closer than ~11.8 blocks, an Enchanter Delusioner will cast its fireballs spell. Once cast, the casting Enchanter Delusioner will shoot between 1 to 3 small fireballs, one at a time, at its target.
If there aren't enough nearby Spore Mobs and the target is farther than ~11.8 blocks, an Enchanter Delusioner will cast its lightning spell. Once cast, if any mobs that can be struck by lightning (Creepers, Villagers, Pigs, etc.) within a 16x16x16 block range of the target exist, they will be struck by lightning. If none are found, a lightning bolt will be summoned relatively close to the target.

Lore
Delusioners are created from Illusioners, who are good at evading the Spore with their spells. In spite, Proto Hiveminds rip the Illusioners they catch apart and put them back together with biomass while still keeping them conscious in order to make them suffer.
The spells that Enchanter Delusioners can cast are based on the properties of Minecraft Enchantments. Its endurance and protection spells are based on an Enchanting Table's ability to Enchant Equipment. Its lightning spell is based on Channeling. Its fireballs spell is based on Fire Aspect and Flame.

Trivia
In one the Delusioner's ambients, it says "help me" very slowly within its growl.
Many people mistook the original Delusioner texture for a Wandering Trader Organoid, so it was updated to be more accurate to an Illusioner's cloak.
Another possible name for the Delusioner was 'Disillusioner'.
Enchanter Delusioner Variants share a remarkably similar design to Enchanters from Minecraft Dungeons.
The Enchanting Table on the Enchanter Delusioner Variant's model was briefly talked about to be its own Infested Enchanting Table block, but it was ultimately kept exclusive to the Variant.
The Enchanter Delusioner Variant used to grant Swift Sneak on the Boots of Spore Mobs when casting its endurance spell, despite the Enchantment being for Leggings, not Boots; not the mention mobs can't even utilize Swift Sneak. This was an oversight on the mod creator's part. It was later changed to Frost Walker.
