Infected Evokers are the infected version of Evokers. Due to their strength, they are classified as Evolved. They are defined as a ranged mob by the config.

Spawned when an Evoker dies with Mycelium Infection.
Spawned from a Vanguard's summoning ability.
Spawned from Arena Tendrils during the third wave of a raid.
Spawned from Vigils during the second and third waves of a Vigil raid.

Hyper Evolution
When reaching 7 kills and waiting for the 5-minute evolution timer to finish, the Infected Evoker will evolve into a Hexenmeister.
Unique Behavior
Infected Evokers are capable of pulling targets towards it. It can do this to targets that are between ~14.1 - ~24.5 blocks away and has a line of sight to its target.
When hit, they have a 30% chance to drop their Claw. When loosing its claw, the Infected Evoker looses its ranged pulling ability.
Will use its totem of undying when killed.
Behavior
Infected Evokers are melee combatants and ranged combatants, attacking mobs with Infected forms, golems, and most hostile mobs.
Infected Evokers inflict Mycelium Infection for 30 seconds when dealing melee damage.
Has a follow range of 64 blocks.
Infected Evokers have a 5% chance to drop a Scent upon death.
When killed, have a chance to place a small short-lived Mycelium Infection area effect cloud.
Infected Evokers will attempt to group together in hordes with other Evolved.
Infected will follow Infected Evokers, who themselves will follow Hyper Evolved and Calamities.
Can perform low leaps/dashes to chase prey quickly through water.
Able to use kill points to give themselves buffs, such as strength or speed if the target is running away. They can also give themselves regeneration if they are low on health.
Capable of breaking glass and leaves.
Have a damage cap of 1/3 of their health on hard mode.
Present a weakness to the cold, like all spore mobs.

Trivia
They used to have a 1% chance to spawn naturally but was removed due to how strong they were (same for the Infected Vindicator.)
When they did still spawn naturally, they were voted the most annoying mob in a poll in the Discord server. Its advancement "Most Annoying Mob" is in reference to this.
Due to the large melee range of the Evoker Claw, it is impossible to hit it without it also hitting you.
Evoker Claws used to be able to stand up. The reason it was removed is because, according to the mod creator; "people were calling it dumb".
