Grakensenkers are water Calamities.
Spawning
Has a ~26.6% chance to spawn from a Womb (created from a Parent Signal that occurred at or below Y=70 and met the water requirement) when it reaches 100 biomass or is killed at Age 3.
Has an ~11.1% chance to spawn from a Womb when it reaches 100 biomass (or is killed at Age 3) and the 30% incorrect spawn roll hits (~3.3% chance overall).
Unique Behavior
Grakensenkers are aquatic; they can breathe underwater and swim very fast in liquids. Grakensenkers swim backwards with their tentacles out. While on land, Grakensenkers are able to walk like spiders with their tentacles.
The hands of the Grakensenker have a 16 block follow range and can target entities independently from their Grakensenker. His hands will move towards and grab entities, bringing them towards and putting them in the Grakensenker's front mouth in a sitting position. When in the mouth, the target will take continuous damage. If the target is a player, they can escape by crouching when being held by his hand or when in his mouth.
If the hands grab a target underwater, the target's breath will be drained much faster. Additionally, the target takes drowning damage much quicker too.
The hands are capable of breaking blocks with a hardness of 5 or below.
If a hand is damaged, it will stop attempting to grab entities for 5 seconds.
The damage dealt to targets in the mouth is separate from the Grakensenker's regular melee damage, meaning he can damage targets in his mouth and melee a different target at the same time.
There is no limit to the amount of entities that can be in a Grakensenker's mouth.
When the Grakensenker doesn't have a target, isn't trying to move anywhere, and is in 12 block deep water, he will create a vortex. When the Grakensenker has a vortex, he completely stops moving, even if he has a target (aside from his hands). The vortex starts at his back jaw and ends at the surface of the water, where bubbles will be visible. The vortex is invisible to players above the water. If a target-able mob or boat gets within range of the vortex, it will drag the entity down the vortex and into the Grakensenker's mouth. Any targets in boats will immediately be dismounted. Boats themselves will be sucked down and broken, adding 5 wood to the Grakensenker's wood meter. If the Grakensenker is damaged, the vortex will disappear and he will not be able to create another one for 1 minute.
The hitbox of the Grakensenker can shrink and grow depending on the situation, allowing it to squeeze into different areas. The smallest its hitbox can shrink is 3x3x3 blocks. The largest its hitbox can grow is 3x3x9 blocks.
As the hitbox's size increases, so does the step height of the Grakensenker. By default, he has a step height of 1.5, like all Calamities. For every block tall the hitbox is, the step height increases by 1. This caps out at 4 blocks, meaning the Grakensenker can have a maximum step height of 5.5.
The Grakensenker's mantle/back jaw takes x3 damage.
For each Skeleton that Grakensenkers kill, their armor will be increased by 1 (x0.5 bars); this has no cap. All Calamities (except Air Calamities) can do this as well.
While Grakensenkers are idle with no Objective and not currently in an Offshore Biome (excluding Mushroom Fields), they will search in a 128 chunk range. If finding an applicable Offshore Biome, they will set their Objective to the nearest applicable biome and travel there. When this happens, the message "Incoming..." will not be sent in chat. All Water Calamities can do this as well.
When Grakensenkers are completely submerged in water, they will appear tinted to the color of the water to players above the surface, making them hard to spot. If a player is in the water, the tint will disappear from any Grakensenkers. All Water Calamities can do this as well.
Grakensenkers are capable of performing Spore Bursts (explained in-depth on the Calamities page). The positive effects they'll grant to allies is Strength I, Conduit Power I, and Resistance II, all for 30 seconds. The negative effects they'll give to targets is Darkness I, Mining Fatigue I, and Mycelium Infection II, all for 30 seconds.
Grakensenkers have three possible custom death messages, being "<player> was eaten by Grakensenker", "<player> was crushed by Grakensenker", and "<player> was dismantled by Grakensenker".
Adaptation
Grakensenkers have a wood meter, which can be filled in two ways. The first is by his vortex breaking a boat, which gives 5 wood. The second is by the Grakensenker breaking logs, planks, or wooden fences, which give 1 wood each. Once it reaches 20 wood, he gains his Galleon adaptation.
The Galleon Grakensenker takes 20% less damage. Furthermore, he has a harpoon gun on his back that he can use. Every 2 seconds, if the Grakensenker is on land, has a target that isn't in his mouth, and his gun is loaded, he will shoot the harpoon gun, attempting to hit the target with a harpoon. He aims in the general direction he's facing. If it misses, the harpoon will slowly be reeled back in via a chain. If it hits, it deals 7.5 damage (x3.75 hearts) and impales the target, reeling them into the Grakensenker's mouth. The harpoon can also snag targets as it travels back to the Grakensenker.
Behavior
Grakensenkers are hostile to most non-Spore mobs, with the exceptions being Animals and Fish (unless Should attack Animals is enabled via the Config) and mobs included in the Mobs Not Targeted blacklist within the Config.
Grakensenkers inflict Mycelium Infection II for 30 seconds when dealing melee damage.
Capable of breaking blocks with a hardness of 5 or lower.
Grakensenkers are immune to negative effects that are not above amplifier I.
Cannot ride Boats.
Can perform short dashes in liquids to pursue a target. However, since they can swim properly, this mechanic is never utilized by them.
Grakensenkers are influenced by Parent Objectives and Redirection.
Grakensenkers can become Rooted.
Grakensenkers can summon Scents in combat (different from Spore Bursts).
When below half health, Grakensenkers can summon Vigils in combat.
Can communicate targets and Search Positions with other Spore Mobs, very similarly to how Linked Mobs do.
Upon death, Grakensenkers place a variety of Biomass Blocks and Human Remains where they died, as well as Corpse Pieces.
Grakensenkers can be affected by the Womb Crafting System.
Can fall from up to 28 blocks before taking fall damage.
Grakensenkers have 1.0 knockback resistance, meaning they can't be knocked back by attacks.
The melee attack of Grakensenkers deals 3 knockback.
Melee attacks of Grakensenkers have an AOE.
Grakensenkers have a step up height of 1.5, meaning they don't have to jump to go up blocks that are 1.5 blocks tall. However, it's capable of increasing depending on a Grakensenker's hitbox size.
Able to utilize Kill Points to grant themselves buffs.
Grakensenkers granting themselves Regeneration with Kill Points will receive it for 30 seconds. If below 50% health, it'll be Regeneration II as well.
Present a weakness to the cold.
Grakensenkers are not influenced by Horde Mentality; they exist as commanders. However, Infected, Evolved (excluding Chargers), Bairns, Scampers, and Gastgebers will attempt to pair up with them.
Are not affected by Vanilla Despawning.
In regards to Frostbite, have a Body Heat of 5 and Enum Percentage of 2.5%.

The idea of the Galleon Grakensenker adaptation is how the Kraken was known for destroying wooden ships.
When coding the Galleon Grakensenker adaptation, the mod creator forgot the decided name 'Galleon' and almost named it 'Flying Dutchman' before he was reminded of the actual name.
The harpoon gun on the Galleon Grakensenker's model is specifically based on whaling harpoons.
The anchor on the Galleon Grakensenker's model was repurposed from an unfinished model, which was a "living construct made of boat parts", that the modeler had attempted before but left unfinished.
