Hyper Evolved are very powerful mobs, being massive as well. They spawn when an Evolved mob that has a Hyper Evolved form gains seven evolution points, in which a five-minute evolution timer begins. Once the timer is finished, the mob evolves. Evolved mobs with variants cannot have a Hyper Evolved form. Each Evolved mob that is able to further evolve can only have one Hyper. These mobs are usually either towering at around three blocks high, or short, but have large length and width. These mobs are infested with fungal growth, being almost entirely made of light brown fungal armor and overgrown with mushrooms. Hyper Evolved are the final evolution of normal infected and can't further evolve. There are a total of five mobs in their tier.

Spawning
Spawned when an Evolved mob that has a Hyper Evolved form gains seven evolution points, in which a five-minute evolution timer begins. Once the timer is finished, the mob evolves into a Hyper Evolved. The transformations go as follows:
Spawned from Arena Tendrils as a special mob during a raid.
Sometimes spawned by a Proto Hivemind when it receives damage, in which it summons a special Verwahrung that holds a Hyper Evolved inside.
Unique Mechanics
Nests
Nests are a mechanic exclusive to Hyper Evolved. They will remember where they evolved and create a nest there. Every now and then they will return to their nest to expend evolution points they gained killing mobs, in turn placing down a Human Remains block for each evolution point they expel.
Shared Aspects & Capabilities
Hyper Evolved will attack mobs with Infected forms, golems, and most hostile mobs.
Hyper Evolved mobs inflict Mycelium Infection for 30 seconds when dealing melee damage.
Essentially has Sweeping Edge, as all their melee attacks have an AOE.
Can fall from up to 8 blocks before taking fall damage.
Hyper Evolved can see entities through walls if they are closer than 10 blocks.
All mobs have a 5% chance to drop a Scent upon death.
Hyper Evolved have 1.0 knockback resistance, meaning they can't be knocked back by attacks.
Hyper Evolved do not attempt to group together, nor do they follow mobs. They are lone hunters.
Can perform low leaps/dashes to chase prey quickly through water.
Able to use kill points to give themselves buffs, such as strength or speed if the target is running away. They can also give themselves regeneration if they are low on health.
Capable of breaking blocks with a hardness of three or below.
Can be a maximum of 20 Hyper Evolved in a world at any given time, managed by the despawning system.
Have a damage cap of 1/3 of the mob's health they're attacking on hard mode.
Present a weakness to the cold, like all spore mobs.
Trivia
The name for Hyper Evolved mobs was originally going to be "Inquisitors," but it got scrapped and the name was given to the current Inquisitor Hyper Evolved.
