Gazenbreachers are water Calamities.
Spawning
Spawned from a Womb when the parent signal is below Y=70 and in a 14x14x14 area around the parent signal location there are seven or more water blocks.
Unique Behavior
Swims extremely quickly underwater, and it is nearly impossible to escape her while submerged.
However, when on land, she is extremely slow.
Able to breath underwater.
If the Gazenbreacher's target is ~17.32 blocks away or 5 blocks higher than the Gazenbreacher, she will shoot a bile projectile. 1 - 3 bile projectiles will shoot from her mouth (assuming she currently has her tongue) and at the target. They deal 10 damage and when hitting mobs, they will apply the bile effects (Blindness, Weakness, and Slowness I for 5 seconds and Mining Fatigue I for 10 seconds.) The projectiles also break boats.
She can also always see you through walls if it meets the same distance checks for shooting a bile projectile.
The sonar ping ability is performed if the Gazenbreacher is inside of a fluid, in which an internal counter ticks up. After 1 minute of being in a fluid, the Gazenbreacher will then send out a sonar ping. She searches for a target within a ~128x128x128 cube around herself. If she locates a whitelisted entity (whitelisted via the config) or a player that isn't in creative mode, she will then set her target to that entity. She does not stop checking entities after locating one, meaning she will cycle through all entities and choose the last valid one. The internal radar tracker resets after each ping, regardless of if she found anything.
If the Gazenbreacher has a target, and the target is both on the ground and not inside of a fluid, she will check distance between her and the target. If the distance is greater than ~5.66 blocks, she will attempt to leap. When leaping towards the target, the horizonal speed is dictated by how far away the entity is, capping out at around upwards of 2 blocks per tick, plus any prior velocity she had prior to the leap. Vertical speed is always set to 1.3 blocks per tick.
She does not play an ambient sound if she has a target and is greater than ~14.14 blocks away, allowing her to sneak up on prey.
When the tongue's hitbox sustains 25% of the Gazenbreacher's health, it will fall off. This will spawn a Licker, and the model will change to not have the tongue anymore. After it falls off, the Gazenbreacher loses her bile projectile attack. She can regain her tongue by healing back to 100% health. Hitting the tongue of the Gazenbreacher deals x1.5 damage, however this does not affect the tongue's personal HP.
The Gazenbreacher has a 0.3% chance to perform her spore burst ability every tick and can only be successful if the target is within ~14.4 blocks; or a 20% chance when taking cold damage. She will summon a Scent and give Speed, Conduit Power (both for 30 seconds at amplifier I,) and Resistance for 30 seconds at amplifier II to all allies within a 16 block radius. The spore burst will also apply debuffs to mobs within a 16 block radius. The debuffs include Darkness for 30 seconds at amplifier I, Mycelium Infection, and Hunger (both for 30 seconds at amplifier II.)
When performing a spore burst, all Infected, Evolved, Hyper Evolved, Scampers, and Gastgebers within a 16 block radius will receive 0 - 3 kill points.
Additionally, when doing a spore burst, all CDUs within a 16 block radius will be clogged, meaning they no longer work. They can be fixed by breaking them and placing them back down.
Gazenbreachers have three possible custom death messages, being "<player> was eaten by Gazenbreacher", "<player> was crushed by Gazenbreacher", and "<player> was dismantled by Gazenbreacher". 50% of the damage Gazenbreachers do is custom 'calamity damage 1', this solely effects the death message. If it fails, 50% chance to deal 'calamity damage 2'. If that fails, 50% chance to deal 'calamity damage 3'.
When a Gazenbreacher is on fire for 40 seconds, she will gain her Crispy adaptation.
The Crispy adaptation grants her fire immunity and her melee attack and bile projectiles sets targets on fire for 10 seconds. Her bile projectiles also appear to be on fire.
Behavior
Gazenbreachers are melee combatants and ranged combatants, attacking mobs with Infected forms, golems, and most hostile mobs.
Gazenbreachers inflict Mycelium Infection II for 30 seconds when dealing melee damage.
Essentially has Sweeping Edge, as their attack has an AOE.
Like horses, Gazenbreachers are capable of stepping up blocks, meaning they don't have to jump to go up one block.
The minimum amount of true damage a Gazenbreacher can deal to a target is 30% of its base melee damage, however the Womb Crafting System can increase that.
Can fall from up to 28 blocks before taking fall damage.
Has a follow range of 64 blocks.
Gazenbreachers are influenced by signals and objectives (explained on the Proto Hivemind page.)
Gazenbreachers can become rooted (explained on the Calamities page.)
Gazenbreachers can summon Scents (explained on the Calamities page.)
Will summon an age 1 Mound when reaching a new objective location.
Gazenbreachers can increase their armor by killing skeletons (explained on the Calamities page.)
Can summon Vigils when below 50% health (explained on the Calamities page.)
Gazenbreachers load chunks when following signals to new objectives.
When dying, Gazenbreachers will place a variety of blocks and Corpse Pieces in their death location (explained on the Calamities page.)
Gazenbreachers can be affected by the womb crafting system (explained on the Womb page.)
Gazenbreachers are immune to debuffs that are not above amplifier one.
Gazenbreachers have a 5% chance to drop a Scent upon death.
Gazenbreachers have 1.0 knockback resistance, meaning they can't be knocked back by attacks.
Gazenbreachers do not attempt to group together, nor do they follow mobs. They are lone hunters.
Evolved mobs will follow Gazenbreachers.
Can perform low leaps/dashes to chase prey quickly through water.
Able to use kill points to give themselves buffs, such as strength or speed if the target is running away. They can also give themselves regeneration if they are low on health.
Capable of breaking blocks with a hardness of 5 or below.
Have a damage cap of 50 (x25 hearts.)
Present a weakness to the cold, like all spore mobs.

Trivia
The Gazenbreacher uses she/her pronouns and is bisexual.
'Gazenbreacher' is German and means "tide breaker".
The name 'Gazenbreacher' is actually a horribly misspelt version of 'Gezeitenbrecher,' the actual German translation of 'Tide breaker'. After the mod creator misspelt it, he decided that the misspelling sounded better when spoken and decided to not fix it
The Gazenbreacher's model is named "aquabitch" in BlockBench.
This name was done as a joke, but it's what caused her to be the first Calamity that was gendered, emphasis on "bitch" part.
Is the first Calamity model to be modeled by Dr. Pilot (the main modeler). Originally, the mod creator (Harbinger) had been modeling her, but an error with his PC occurred, causing the original Gazenbreacher to be completely wiped. As a result, Harbinger asked Dr. Pilot to model her instead.
Is also refered to as the 'Gazenbrecher,' 'GazenBreacher,' and 'GazenBrecher.'
The model of the Gazenbreacher was given more detail after some players complained it was 'too bland.'
The Crispy Gazenbreacher adaptation utilizes the old texture of the Gazenbreacher. This is because it was made before the Gazenbreacher was retextured.
The Crispy adaptation is the first Calamity adaptation to be made and was where the original idea for adaptations came from.
