Organoid Mobs
General Spawning
All Organoids (excluding Proto Hiveminds themselves and Hivetumors) can be spawned by Proto Hiveminds.
Tier-Unique Mechanics
Crowd Control
Every 10 seconds, an Organoid will check in a 36 block range around itself. If it detect 5 other Organoids within that range, it will attempt to burrow and despawn to prevent overcrowding and lag. Mounds, Proto Hiveminds, and Hivetumors do not attempt to despawn, and while Wombs will attempt to burrow, they are incapable of actually despawning.
Shared Aspects & Capabilities
Organoids are hostile (excluding Mounds, Verwahrungs, and Wombs) to most non-Spore mobs, with the exceptions being Animals and Fish (unless Should attack Animals is enabled via the Config) and mobs included in the Mobs Not Targeted blacklist within the Config.
Affected by Crowd Control, which prevents too many Organoids from existing in one place.
Organoids are stationary; immobile.
Organoids have a passive regeneration equivalent to about amplifier 2. This is disabled while they are freezing.
Organoids can breath underwater.
If an Organoid detects it is on a block with a hardness of 4 or more, it will instantly despawn.
Present a weakness to the cold.
Can be a maximum of 40 Organoids in a world at any given time, managed by the Despawning System.
Trivia
