Brotkatze

Brotkatzes are the evolution of Braiomils, belonging in the Hyper Evolved tier.

Spawning

• Spawned when a Braiomil gets 7 evolution points by killing mobs and its evolution timer begins. Once the time is up, they will become a Brotkatze.

• Spawned from Arena Tendrils as a special mob during a raid.

• Spawned from Vigils during the third wave of a Vigil raid.

• Sometimes spawned by a Proto Hivemind when it receives damage, in which it summons a special Verwahrung that can hold a Brotkatze inside.

Unique Behavior

• In order for the Brotkatze to perform her gas attack, her target needs to be within roughly 10.9 blocks for her 'swell timer' to start ticking (swell timer is just the time it takes to perform her gas attack.) It takes 2 seconds for the gas attack to arm. The diameters of the range for the gas attack are ~25.8 blocks horizontally and vertically. Her gas attack inflicts Wither I for 10 seconds, Weakness II for 15 seconds, Mycelium Infection II for 30 seconds, and Marker II for 2 minutes. These effects will not be applied to other spore mobs. When doing her gas attack ability, black smoke particles will appear from the Brotkatze's mouth and the unborn child's mouth. This ability can be countered by wearing a Gas Mask.

• Is known for jumping quite a lot, as she has her own leap goal in the code. She needs to have a target within 4 - ~6.9 blocks in order for her to leap. She's capable of leaping across small gaps to reach targets.

Behavior

• Brotkatzes are melee combatants and ranged combatants, attacking mobs with Infected forms, golems, and most hostile mobs.

• Brotkatzes inflict Mycelium Infection for 30 seconds when dealing melee damage.

• Essentially has Sweeping Edge, as its attack has an AOE.

• Can fall from up to 8 blocks before taking fall damage.

• Has a follow range of 48 blocks.

• Brotkatzes can see entities through walls if they are closer than 10 blocks.

• Brotkatzes will create nests (explained on the Hyper Evolved page.)

• Brotkatzes have a 5% chance to drop a Scent upon death.

• Brotkatzes have 1.0 knockback resistance, meaning they can't be knocked back by attacks.

• Brotkatzes do not attempt to group together, nor do they follow mobs. They are lone hunters.

• Infected and Evolved mobs will follow Brotkatzes.

• Can perform low leaps/dashes to chase prey quickly through water.

• Able to use kill points to give themselves buffs, such as strength or speed if the target is running away. They can also give themselves regeneration if they are low on health.

• Capable of breaking blocks with a hardness of 3 or below.

• Have a damage cap of 1/3 of their health on hard mode.

• Present a weakness to the cold, like all spore mobs.
