Bioblobs belong in the Experiment tier.
Spawning
Spawn naturally in laboratory structures (Military Camp, Hospital, Permafrost Mining Outpost, and Groundzero structures.)
Spawns in groups of 1 - 2 with a spawn weight of 10.
Spawned from Arena Tendrils as a special mob during a raid.
Spawned from naturally placed monster spawners in various structures.
Unique Behavior
Has an even chance to shoot either a bile or corrosive projectile at targets every 3 seconds. The corrosive projectiles inflict the Corrosion II effect for 15 seconds. If the target is hit by a corrosive projectile while they already have Corrosion, the amplifier will be increased by 1. The bile projectiles apply the bile effects (Blindness, Weakness, and Slowness I for 5 seconds and Mining Fatigue I for 10 seconds.)
When taking damage, the Bioblob's size is decreased by 0.01% of the damage taken (e.g. if it takes 6 damage, size will decrease by 0.06.) When killing anything, the Bioblob's size is increased by 0.1%. The size scale of the Bioblob is locked between 0.5x and 2.0x normal size.
Any attempts to increase or decrease the scale beyond the locked size fails, except for when increasing size from kills due to how the check is made, the size gained from killing something can overflow up to around 0.09 over the cap; if the size is 1.99 and the Bioblob kills something, +0.1 is added to the counter, overflowing to 2.09. There is no checks preventing this overflow
HP, attack damage, and armor scales multiplicatively with the size of the entity. E.g. a Bioblob with a size of 0.75 has 75% HP, 75% attack damage, and 75% Armor compared to a base scale stats. Movement speed is scaled inversely; the larger, the slower. E.g. a Bioblob with a scale of 2.0 is twice as slow as a 1.0 scale Bioblob (the base size.)
Behavior
Bioblobs are melee combatants and ranged combatants, attacking mobs with Infected forms, golems, and most hostile mobs.
Bioblobs inflict Mycelium Infection for 30 seconds when dealing melee damage.
Has a follow range of 30 blocks.
Bioblobs, when spawning naturally, will be in stasis (explained on the Experiment page.)
Bioblobs have a 5% chance to drop a Scent upon death.
Can perform low leaps/dashes to chase prey quickly through water.
Able to use kill points to give themselves buffs, such as strength or speed if the target is running away. They can also give themselves regeneration if they are low on health.
Capable of breaking blocks with a hardness of 1 or below.
Present a weakness to the cold, like all spore mobs.

Lore
The origin of the Bioblob is from a bunch of infected being thrown in acid, but they didn’t die, and formed into one mass.

Trivia
The Bioblob is a suggested mob, coming from the mind of @nexouuz in the Spore Asylum Discord server.
Bioblobs are inspired by the Mind Flayer from Stranger Things.
The ID for the Bioblob is named "spore:biobloob" in the code. This is because this mod creator thought the actual name was 'Biobloob' before he was corrected.
